SPB 2024 - Broncos welcome back James, ex Al-Muharraq

Broncos BBC de Caracas (SPB) tabbed experienced 34-year old American ex-international 185cm guard Ra'shad James (college: Iona) for new season. It is actually his comeback to Caracas as he has played here before. James played recently at Al-Muharraq in Bahrain Premier League. In two games he averaged impressive 18.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg last season. The last summer he played at Broncos in Venezuelan SPB where in 15 games he had 8.3ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.7apg. He was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2017 and 2021.
James is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in thirteen different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. James has played previously professionally in Canada (Shooting Stars), Croatia (Cedevita), France (Boulazac Basket), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm and Telekom Baskets), Italy (Ravenna), Korea (Wonju DB), Morocco (AS Sale), Poland (AZS), Turkey (Ormanspor and Yesilgiresun), United Arab Emirates (Al Wahda), Dominican Republic (Caneros), NBA G League (Stockton Kings, Westchester Knicks and Birmingham Squadron) and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team).
Among many awards he played in the final of CEBL in 2022. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Honorable Mention back in 2021.
James graduated from Iona College in 2012 and it is his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played also for St. Thomas Aquinas College for 2 years.
