SPB 2024 - LaQuinton Ross (ex Antonine) agreed terms with Pioneros

LaQuinton Ross

Pioneros Del Avila (SPB) inked 31-year old American 203cm forward LaQuinton Ross (college: Ohio State). Ross moved there from Antonine in Lebanese Division 2. In 7 games he recorded 12.7ppg, 8.9rpg and 2.3apg last season. The last season he played at Mantova in Italian Serie A2 where in 35 games he averaged 12.5ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.5apg.
In 2018 (four years after his graduation) he was drafted by Northern Arizona Suns (G-League) in second round (24th overall).
He graduated from Ohio State in 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
Ross has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
He is a very experienced player. Ross has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Quimsa), China (Anhui Putianxingfa), France (JDA Dijon), Israel (Hapoel Eilat), Latvia (VEF Riga), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal), Serbia (Zlatibor), Uruguay (Malvin), Dominican Republic (Los Prados and Sameji), NBA G League (Texas Legends, NAZ Suns and Memphis Hustle) and The Basketball Tournament (Carmen's Crew).
Among many awards he won The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2019. Ross was voted to Eurobasket.com Adriatic League 2 All-Imports Team in 2022.
