French Ludgy Debaut (213-C, agency: Helping Ballers) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Llaneros de Guarico and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The center had a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Toros (#5, 1-1) 76-72. Llaneros is placed at 2nd position in Venezuelan SPB. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Llaneros won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Debaut had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Llaneros and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. East Carolina University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Debaut is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 71.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Gary McGhee (210-C-1988, agency: Inception Sports) of Guaiqueries de Margarita. McGhee impressed basketball fans with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Guaiqueries lost that game 66-78 to Marinos (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. McGhee is one of the most experienced players at Guaiqueries and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Guaiqueries' star - American Alphonso Anderson (198-F). Anderson showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Anderson's great performance the Guaiqueries de Margarita lost 66-78 to Marinos (#1, 2-0). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The season just started for Anderson as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

10. Kelvin Caraballo (198-F-1988) of Heroes - 10 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
