Experienced American Addison Spruill (195-G-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for Toros de Aragua and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 30-year old guard had the game-high 29 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Toros in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Trotamundos (#3, 3-2) 84-81. Toros is placed at 6th position in Venezuelan SPB. Toros is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. In the team's last game Spruill had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Toros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Addison Spruill averages just after three games 18.0ppg and 8.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Dion Wright (201-F-1993) of Llaneros de Guarico. Wright impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Llaneros lost that game 80-88 to the higher-ranked Spartans (#2, 3-1). This loss caused Llaneros to drop to 5th position in Group I. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Wright is one of the most experienced players at Llaneros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#2). He also registered 8.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Jeremiah Wilson (205-PF-1988, agency: BIG) of Trotamundos de Carabobo (#3). Wilson scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Wilson's great performance the Trotamundos lost 81-84 to the lower-ranked Toros (#6, 2-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Trotamundos needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Group I. Their record is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Wilson has a great season in Venezuela. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.2ppg (5th best).

4. Josh Cunningham (203-F-1996) of Centauros - 17 points and 9 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
