Lamonte Bearden

Frontinos Del Tachira (SPB) inked 28-year old American 191cm guard Lamonte Bearden (college: WKU). Bearden moved there from Vanta Black Dragons in Taiwanese TAT League where he started the season. The last season he played at KL Aseel in Malaysian MBL. In 8 TAT League games he averaged impressive 20.6ppg, 6.4rpg, 7.3apg and 2.0spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
Three years ago (two years after his graduation) he was drafted by Texas Legends (G-League) in third round (15th overall).
Bearden graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2019 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Bearden has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Estonia (Tartu), Germany (Schwenningen), Israel (Ramat Gan, Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim and Maccabi Kiryat Motzkin), Saudi Arabia (Al Ansar), Turkey (Duzce) and The Basketball Tournament (Blue Collar U (Buffalo Alumni)). Bearden's team won MAC Tournament in 2015 and 2016.
Bearden was selected to MAC All-Freshman Team back in 2015. He played also for The University of Buffalo for 2 years.
