Kramer number one in Venezuela SPB for round 17

American Center Kelby Kramer (213-C-1999) put on an amazing game in the last round for Frontinos Del Tachira, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 14 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Trotamundos (#2, 10-3) 79-75. Thanks to this victory Frontinos moved-up to the 8th position in Venezuelan SPB. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. Kramer just recently signed at Frontinos and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Kelby Kramer averages just after two games 14.0ppg and 14.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Romeao Ferguson (196-G-1997) of Diablos de Miranda. Ferguson had a very good evening with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Diablos lost that game 59-77 to the higher-ranked Guaiqueries (#6, 5-5). This loss caused Diablos to drop to 9th position in Group II. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Diablos managed to get this year. Ferguson is one of the most experienced players at Diablos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 3.8apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Matthew Butler (188-G-1995) of Gaiteros de Zulia (#5). Butler got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He was a key player of Gaiteros, leading his team to a 86-77 win against the lower-ranked Panteras (#8, 3-9). Gaiteros needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group II. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Butler has a very solid season. In 3 games in Venezuela he scored 18.7ppg.
