SPB 2024 - Girardi Cubillan's pro career starts at Gaiteros

Gaiteros de Zulia (SPB) landed 24-year old Venezuelan 198cm forward Girardi Cubillan. Cubillan just graduated from Florida National University (NAIA) in USA. In 20 games he averaged 5.0ppg and 4.3rpg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NAIA. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Cubillan started his college career at Miami Dade College (JUCO). Then he moved to Florida National University (NAIA). Cubillan's high school career he had spent at James Monroe in Fredericksburg, VA.
So his pro career will start in Venezuela.
