Cocodrilos de Caracas (SPB) signed 33-year-old American 201cm forward Jordan Hamilton (college: Texas). He was the top scorer at Aomori Watts in Japanese B2 League last season, averaging 20.8ppg, 10.4rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.6spg in 59 games. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D2 All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times), and Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 First Team.
In 2011, he was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) in the first round (26th overall). He graduated from the University of Texas, and it will be his 14th season in pro basketball.
Hamilton was a member of the USA U19 National Team in 2007.
He is a very experienced player. Hamilton has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to twelve different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon), Italy (Brescia), Japan (Lakestars, Storks and Volters), Montenegro (Buducnost), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros), Russia (Krasny Oktyabr), Turkey (Tofas and Usak), NBA (Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets and LA Clippers), Venezuela (Guaros and Bucaneros), Dominican Republic (Metros), NBA G League (Stockton Kings) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS and Austin's Own).
Between 2022 and 2023, Hamilton's team was the regular season runner-up in the Japanese B League D2 West Division. Hamilton was selected to the Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention in 2023.
