Bond's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old American shooting guard Tim Bond (201-SG-1995, agency: BMS Sport Agency) had a very impressive game in the last round for Pioneros Del Avila and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
He got a double-double of 17 points and 10 assists, while his team outclassed Llaneros (#8, 5-13) with 29-point margin 97-68. Pioneros maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Venezuelan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Pioneros will need more victories to improve their 11-8 record. In the team's last game Bond had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pioneros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Eastern Michigan University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bond is in league's top in assists (5th best: 4.1apg). Worth to mention Bond played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Paul Jackson (188-G-1996, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) of top-ranked Gladiadores de Anzoategui. He is American guard in his first season at Gladiadores. In the last game Jackson recorded an impressive 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. It was enough for Gladiadores to edge the lower-ranked Toros (#9, 2-14) by 6 points 82-76. Of course Gladiadores still keep Group I's top spot. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 16 matches. Jackson is one of the most experienced players at Gladiadores and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former Eastern Michigan University star Jackson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to center Kelby Kramer (213-C-1999) of Frontinos Del Tachira (#7). Kramer scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Frontinos, leading his team to a 98-90 win against the higher-ranked Broncos (#4, 9-9). The chances of Frontinos ranking at the top of Group I, however are very questionable as they have already lost 11 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kramer could help Frontinos to bring them higher in the standings. Kramer has a great season in Venezuela. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.6rpg (4th best). He also has 2.0bpg and a FGP of 64.8%.
