SLFB 2025 - Waleska Perez comes back to Caribenas

Caribenas de Caracas (SLBF) added to their roster 31-year old Venezuelan international 180cm guard Waleska Perez (college: Weatherford JC). It is actually her comeback to Caracas as she has played here before. Perez played last summer at Pioneras in Mexican Liga Chihuahua Vive. In three Women Basketball League Americas games she recorded 4.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. The last season she was tested by ZKK Kraljevo in Serbian 1 ZLS where in three games she averaged 6.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.7apg and 2.0spg.
She has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. Perez has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2010 and previously for U18 National Team in 2009.
She represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Medellin 2025 years ago. Her stats at that event were 2 games: 0pts, 3.5rpg, Assists-5(3.0apg).
Perez is a very experienced player. Thanks to Perez's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. She has played previously professionally also in Argentina (Obras), Brazil (Blumenau), Colombia (Motilonas), Croatia (Rijeka), Spain (Arxil), Venezuela (Anzoategui, Guaras, Cangrejas and Pastoras), El Salvador (Salvadorenas) and Mexico (Abejas). Perez won Venezuelan LINABAFE championship title in 2014, 2017 and 2021.
Among many awards she was voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan Superliga Guard of the Year back in 2022.
She attended Weatherford College until 2014 and it will be her twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
