Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Jose Ascanio (204-1996) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Luis Duarte (190-1994) who added 10 points during the contest. At the losing side Dominican guard Juan Suero (196-1993) responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
