In 2016 he was drafted by New Orleans Pelicans (NBA) in second round (40th overall). The former University of Maryland standout is in his tenth season in pro basketball. Stone is quite experienced player. Stone's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in fifteen different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Stone has played professionally in China (Hefei), Iran (Gorgan), Israel, Kosovo (Sigal Prishtina), Kuwait (Kazma), Lebanon (Nadim Souaid Academy), Philippines (Bolts and Beermen), Puerto Rico (Mets, Gigantes and Indios), NBA (Utah Jazz), Venezuela (Cocodrilos), Dominican Republic (Marineros), NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers and Iowa Wolves), Mongolia (Brothers) and The Basketball Tournament (Shell Shock). Among many awards he won Balkan League championship title in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Mongolian League All-Imports Team in 2025.
