SPB 2026 - Jordan Hamilton (ex Gorgan) is a newcomer at Piratas

Jordan Hamilton

Piratas de la Guaira (SPB) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 35-year-old American 201cm forward Jordan Hamilton (college: Texas). He recently played at Shahrdari Gorgan in the Iranian Superleague. In 14 games, he recorded very impressive stats: 19.1ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.5spg last season. He also played 6 games in the West Asia Super League, where he averaged a remarkable 21.5ppg, 7.7rpg, 3.7apg, and 1.3spg. Last season, he played at Al-Difaa Aljawie (Superleague) in Iraq.
In 2011, he was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) in the first round (26th overall). Hamilton graduated from the University of Texas, and it will be his 15th season in pro basketball.
He was a member of the USA Under 19 National Team in 2007.
Thanks to Hamilton's pro career, he has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America) in fourteen different countries. He has played professionally in Iraq, Iran, Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon), Italy (Brescia), Japan (Lakestars, Storks, Volters, and Watts), Lebanon (Homentmen), Montenegro (Buducnost), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros), Russia, Taiwan (Braves), Turkey (Tofas and Usak), Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Guaros, and Bucaneros), Dominican Republic (Metros), and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS and Austin's Own). Hamilton is a very experienced player.
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Japanese B League D2 West Division in 2022. Hamilton was voted to the Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D2 All-Imports Team in 2024.
