SPB 2026 - Marinos gets Osbel Caraballo, sends Gonzalez and Bastardo to Piratas

Marinos de Anzoategui (SPB) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year-old forward Osbel Caraballo (196cm-97kg-1998, college: STAC) through a trade with Piratas de La Guaira, by sending Daniel Bastardo (198-PF-2004) and Ruben Gonzalez (190-SF-2002) in return. Caraball started the season at Piratas. However, in two SPB games in Venezuela just recently, he recorded only 1.0ppg and 1.0rpg.
He has also played professionally in Colombia (Bucaros), Venezuela (Gigantes, Spartans, and Gladiadores), and Colombia.
His team reached the ECC Tournament Semifinals in 2019.
Caraballo graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2022 and is currently in his fourth season as a professional player.
