Ledo's 24 points and 6 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American Ricky Ledo (201-SF-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Trotamundos de Carabobo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 24 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Trotamundos in his team's victory, helping them to beat Marinos (6-3) 87-82. Trotamundos is placed at 2nd position in Venezuelan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Trotamundos will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Ledo just recently signed at Trotamundos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ledo is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.9ppg) and averages solid 53.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Malik Dime (206-C-1992, agency: Slash Sports) of Marinos de Anzoategui. He is Senegalese-American center in his first season at Marinos. In the last game Dime recorded an impressive 18 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Marinos lost that game 82-87 to the higher-ranked Trotamundos (6-3). This loss caused Marinos to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dime is one of the most experienced players at Marinos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Yeison Colome (190-SG-1996) of Piratas de la Guaira (#11). Colome showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Piratas, leading his team to a 97-83 easy win against Centauros (2-7). Piratas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Colome he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Colome has individually a great season in Venezuela. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.1ppg (3rd best).
