SPB 2026 - Pioneros land Jarell Eddie, ex Al Ittihad

Jarell Eddie

Pioneros Del Avila (SPB) signed 34-year-old USA international Jarell Eddie, a 201cm forward from Virginia Tech, represented by Octagon Europe. He most recently played for Al Ittihad in the Saudi Arabian SBL league, where he averaged 17.4ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.1apg in 17 games last season. Eddie helped his team reach the Saudi Arabian Cup Semifinals and was named to the Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian League Second Team. He also had impressive stats in the West Asia Super League, with 19.5ppg, 5.5rpg, and 1.8apg in 6 games. During the last summer season, he played for Santeros (BSN) in the Puerto Rican league. Eddie has been a regular member of the USA Senior National Team since 2025.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in ten different countries playing on three different continents. Eddie is familiar with European, Latin American, and North American leagues. He has played professionally in France (SIG Strasbourg), Greece (Peristeri), Puerto Rico, Romania (Cluj Napoca), Spain (UCAM and Burgos), Turkey (Fenerbahce and Konyaspor), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Wizards), NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Windy City Bulls), and The Basketball Tournament (GCG, Gutter Cats, and Team Diesel).
Eddie's team reached the Greek Supercup Final Four in 2025, among many awards. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Honorable Mention in 2020.
He graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2014 and is currently in his twelfth season in pro basketball.
