American James Reese V (193-G-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Trotamundos de Carabobo and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
The 27-year old guard had the game-high 39 points adding four rebounds for Trotamundos in his team's victory, helping them to crush Pioneros (#7, 9-10) with 18-point margin 92-74. Trotamundos maintains the 5th position in Venezuelan SPB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Trotamundos will need more victories to improve their 12-7 record. In the team's last game Reese V had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He just recently signed at Trotamundos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. James Reese V averages this season 15.3ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Panamanian power forward Gil Atencio (202-PF-1996) of Centauros de Bolivar. Atencio impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Centauros to another comfortable win 78-62 over slightly lower-ranked Panteras (#13, 1-16) being unquestionably team leader. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Centauros keeps 12th position. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Centauros managed to get this year. Atencio is one of the most experienced players at Centauros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Dominican Rep. Juan Suero (196-G-1993) of Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (#3). Suero scored 24 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Suero's great performance the Spartans lost 60-69 to the lower-ranked Marinos (#6, 10-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Spartans needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 5 lost games. Suero has a very solid season. In 18 games in Venezuela he scored 15.6ppg. He also has 4.3rpg, 3.7apg and a FGP of 55.5%.

4. Nahziah Carter (198-G-1999) of Gaiteros - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
