Colon's 30-point game gives him Player of the Week award

24-year old Dominican Rep. shooting guard Diego Colon (188-SG-2001) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Cocodrilos de Caracas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
He had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Cocodrilos in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Panteras (#13, 1-17) with 26-point margin 98-72. Cocodrilos maintains the 2nd position in Venezuelan league. They are still close to the very top. Cocodrilos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 16-3 record. In the team's last game Colon had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Cocodrilos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Colon has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.1ppg. Colon is in league's top in and averages solid 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Luis Montero (203-SF-1993). He is Dominican Rep. in his first season at Cocodrilos. In the last game Montero recorded an impressive double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Colon he helped Cocodrilos de Caracas with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Panteras (#13, 1-17) 98-72. Cocodrilos' second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just three games this season, while they won 16 matches. Montero is one of the most experienced players at Cocodrilos and similarly like Diego Colon has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard James Reese V (193-G-1998) of Trotamundos de Carabobo (#4). Reese V got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He was a key player of Trotamundos, leading his team to a 101-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Piratas (#10, 6-12).
