SPB 2026 - Guaiqueries land Chris Vogt, ex Union SF

Guaiqueries de Margarita (SPB) signed 27-year-old American 213cm center Chris Vogt (college: Wisconsin, agency: Haylett Sports). He transferred there from Union de Santa Fe in Argentinian La Liga. In 30 games, he averaged 7.3ppg and 5.9rpg last season. During the last summer season, he played for Caballeros de Culiacan (CIBACOPA) in the Mexican league.
He is a very experienced player, and thanks to pro basketball, he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Vogt is familiar with European, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in Austria (Timberwolves), Belgium (Leuven Bears), Israel (Maccabi Rehovot), Mexico, and Czech Republic (Olomoucko).
Vogt's team reached the Alpe Adria Cup Final Four in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Austrian League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2022 and is in his fourth season in pro basketball. Vogt played for other colleges such as the University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University.
