Elias King gets MVP of the Week award for Venezuelan SPB (by Hoops Agents)

American Elias King (203-G-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for Brillantes de Zulia and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 36.
The 25-year old guard had the game-high 25 points adding nine rebounds for Brillantes in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Pioneros (#7, 12-11) 77-75. Brillantes maintains the 8th position in Venezuelan SPB. Brillantes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-12 record. In the team's last game King had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Brillantes and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Elias King averages just after two games 23.5ppg and 7.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Kelby Kramer (213-C-1999, agency: Starting 5) of Pioneros Del Avila. Kramer impressed basketball fans with 9 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Pioneros was edged by slightly lower-ranked Brillantes (#8, 11-12) 77-75. Pioneros managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 12-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. The third best performed player last round was another Pioneros' star - American Jarell Eddie (201-F-1991). Eddie scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Eddie's great performance the Pioneros Del Avila lost 75-77 to slightly lower-ranked Brillantes (#8, 11-12). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The last thing Pioneros needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 12 victories and 11 lost games. Eddie has a very solid season. In 8 games in Venezuela he scored 16.8ppg. He also has 6.3rpg, a FGP of 52.4% and 3PT: 43.1%.
