There was a small surprise when seventh rankedDA-Project (2-3) beat on the road 5th ranked Slam (2-4) 75-67 on Thursday. Strangely Slam outrebounded DA-Project 46-13 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international forward Bryan Matthew (196-1976, college: Iona) nailed 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and guard Olivee Morris accounted for 12 points and 4 assists. Guard Humroy Wright came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds and Dominican guard Shawn Thomas added 6 points and 16 rebounds respectively for Slam in the defeat. DA-Project moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Stingerz. Slam lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
