Rather predictable result in Santa Fe where ninth rankedUnion (5-4) edged 13th ranked Independ.O. (3-5) 89-87 on Wednesday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of American Dominique Morrison (198-1989, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds and center Jose Alessio (203-1987) who added 15 points during the contest. Guard Agustin Jara (186-1998) responded with 20 points and forward Jorge Garcia (200-2003) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Union moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Olimpico. Independ.O. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with five games lost. They share it with San Lorenzo.
