Everything went according to plan in La Plata where second rankedEl Talar (8-2) edged 4th placed GELP (3-5) 66-65 on Tuesday. El Talar outrebounded GELP 51-31 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Conrado Solana stepped up and scored 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Juan Bellozas (195-1993) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Enzo Rupcic (201-1997) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Gian Sinconi (204-1994) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. El Talar have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted El Talar maintains second place with 8-2 record having just two point less than leader Dep Viedma. GELP lost fourth consecutive game.
