Rather predictable result when third rankedRiachuelo (4-1) rolled over 5th ranked Quimsa (3-5) in La Rioja 74-54 on Sunday. Riachuelo forced 21 Quimsa turnovers. The former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996, agency: BIG) nailed 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Angelina Giacone (182-2005, agency: BIG) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Riachuelo players scored in double figures. Point guard Lucia Boggetti (162-1998) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Agostina Leguizamon (164-2000) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Riachuelo moved-up to second place. Loser Quimsa keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Obras.
