Very important is a home loss of second rankedEl Talar (8-4) against fifth ranked La Union (5-5) on Monday night. Host El Talar was defeated by La Union in a tough game in Buenos Aires 67-71 . The winners were led by Rodrigo Acuna (198-1995) who scored that evening 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Lucio Longoni (205-2001) supported him with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four La Union players scored in double figures. Even 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Matias Cueva (185-1997) did not help to save the game for El Talar . Guard Ramiro Stehli (190-2002) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. El Talar's coach Leandro Genovese tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. La Union have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Jujuy. Newly promoted El Talar keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Comunicaciones.
