Very important is a road loss of third rankedAmancay (7-5) against fifth ranked Jujuy (6-5) on Friday night. Visiting Amancay was defeated by Jujuy in 73-63 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Amancay. Jujuy dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Amancay 's 32. They outrebounded Amancay 34-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Milton Vittar (185-1991) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American Jeremy McLaughlin (203-1995, college: Catawba) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Jujuy players scored in double figures. Jujuy's coach Fabian Daverio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Fabricio Peralta replied with 16 points and power forward Conrado Echevarria (195-1998, agency: BIG) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Amancay. Jujuy have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-5 record. Amancay at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Jujuy's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena .
