Regular Season Round 13: Obera - Riachuelo LR 89-74

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Obera (6-3) beat at home 9th ranked Riachuelo (5-6) 89-74 on Sunday. Obera shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Spanish forward Tobias Reizner (203, college: Truman St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side and Paraguayan power forward Hugo Caballero (190-2004) accounted for 31 points. Center Fabricio Diaz (205-2006) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Mateo Corso (185-2003) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Riachuelo in the defeat. Four Riachuelo players scored in double figures. Obera moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ferro. Loser Riachuelo LR dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Quimsa. Obera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Riachuelo will play against Union (#9) in Santa Fe and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
