There was no surprise in Mercedes where 5th rankedJujuy (6-6) was defeated by second ranked Comunicaciones (9-4) 71-57 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Chilean Fabian Martinez (194-2000) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Matias Eidintas (186-1995) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Joaquin Sanchez (188-1998) who recorded 19 points and forward Lucio Castellani (196-1994) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Comunicaciones maintains second position with 9-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Dep Viedma, which they share with Villa S.Martin. Loser Jujuy dropped to the third place with six games lost. They share the position with U.Mar del Plata and Pico FC.
