There was a small surprise when fourth rankedRacing Ch. (7-6) outplayed second-ranked Quilmes (8-6) in Chivilcoy 83-57 on Sunday. Point guard Alejo Barrales (174-1991) notched 11 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and swingman Juan Conte (192-2002) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Tomas Verbauwede (198-1999) did not help to save the game for Quilmes . The former international Juan De La Fuente (195-2000) added 11 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing Ch. moved-up to third place, which they share with Racing A. and Pico FC. Loser Quilmes keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Amancay.
