Very important is a road loss of second rankedEl Talar (11-4) against fourth ranked Union Florida (8-6) on Tuesday night. Visiting El Talar was defeated by Union Florida in a tough game in Florida 67-73 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of El Talar. Guard Giuliana Baccarelli (165-2004) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Colombian guard Myriam Alonso (175-1992) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Lara Tribouley (181-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) and the former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union Florida have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Rocamora. Newly promoted El Talar keeps the second position with four games lost.
