Regular Season Round 16: Penarol - Regatas 62-76

Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Penarol (3-6) lost to second ranked Regatas (12-1) in Mar del Plata 62-76. Regatas outrebounded Penarol 47-26 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Juan Larraza who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and guard Benjamin Marco (186-2005) who added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Regatas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Gonzalo Aman responded with 18 points and 6 assists and point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) scored 6 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Regatas keeps a position of league leader. Penarol at the other side keeps the sixteenth place with six games lost. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Penarol will play again at home against the league's leader Regatas (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
