Important game to mention about took place in Buenos Aires. Ninth ranked La Union (7-5) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Ferro (8-6) 79-78 on Wednesday evening. La Union forced 22 Ferro turnovers. It was a good game for Thiago Gronda who saved his team from a defeat with 29 points and 8 steals. Augusto Moresco contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ulises Martorell (198-2006) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and Tobias Tamagusuku added 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Ferro. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. La Union moved-up to eighth place. Ferro at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Riachuelo. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
