Regular Season Round 24: Quimsa - Penarol 61-65

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 16th ranked Quimsa's (5-12) home loss to fifteenth ranked Penarol (7-11) 61-65 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of Gonzalo Aman who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Matias Pikaluk (188-2006) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and Romeo Amprimo scored 12 points and 7 assists. Quimsa's coach Marcelo Zanni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Penarol moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Olimpico. Quimsa lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
