Rather predictable result in Junin where seventh rankedFerro (11-7) outscored 10th ranked Argentino (8-8) 78-56 on Friday. Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Argentino 's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ulises Martorell (198-2006) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Camilo Rodriguez (187-2006) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Ferro players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) with 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Juan Arias (177-2007) scored 9 points. Argentino's coach Julio Mazzaro already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Ferro have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Argentino keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Union. Ferro will meet Zarate (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Argentino will play against Regatas (#3) and hope to secure a win.
