Regular Season Round 25: Argentino - Regatas 66-69

Eleventh-ranked Argentino (8-9) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Regatas (15-2) in Junin. The visitors from Corrientes managed to secure only three-point victory 69-66. However their fans expected much easier game. Forward Francisco Ferraro (196-2004) stepped up and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and power forward Ignacio Ortega (205-2004) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Regatas players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Martino Caporaletti scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Regatas moved-up to second place. Argentino at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Regatas will play against Boca Jrs. (#13) in Buenos Aires in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Argentino will play at home against San Martin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
