We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Santiago del Estero where one of their biggest challengersIndependiente (3-5) was defeated by fifth ranked Comunicaciones (3-3) 82-76 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Francisco Llanos (182-2001) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds and Matias Eidintas (186-1995) who added 14 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Cristian Amicucci (200-1985) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Victor Cajal (179-1980) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Comunicaciones moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Quilmes and La Union. Loser Independiente dropped to the fifth position with five games lost.
