Important game to mention about took place in James Craik. Fifth rankedQuimsa (2-2) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Chanares (2-2) 56-54 in the fight for the fourth place. Quimsa outrebounded Chanares 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Lucia Boggetti (162-1998) who added 9 points during the contest. At the losing side naturalized Italian point guard Regina Carosio (165-1986) responded with 13 points and 4 steals (made all of her seven free throws) and Macarena Galindez scored 9 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Quimsa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Chanares. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
