No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedFerro (14-7) crushed bottom-ranked Atenas (1-20) in Buenos Aires 87-49 on Thursday. Ferro forced 28 Atenas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ferro made 9 blocks. The winners were led by Uruguayan Maximiliano Antunez (193-2005) who scored that evening 15 points and 4 assists and guard Camilo Rodriguez (187-2006) supported him with 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Ferro's coach Jonathan Laino felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 18 points by Tiago Tomatis did not help to save the game for Atenas .
