No shocking result in a game when third ranked GELP (4-3) beat on the road 8th ranked Pilar (1-6) 73-66 on Thursday. Point guard Raul Pelorosso (178-1994) nailed 22 points and 5 assists for the winning side and center Franco Barroso (207-1994) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. Center Facundo Jerez (202-1995) came up with 18 points and point guard Jonatan Treise (185-1985) added 16 points respectively for Pilar in the defeat. GELP maintains third place with 4-3 record having just two points less than leader Racing A., which they share with Quilmes and La Union. Pilar lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Rivadavia and Villa Mitre. GELP will meet Rocamora (#5) on the road in the next round. Pilar will have a break next round.
