Regular Season Round 29: Union - Obras 89-85

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Obras (17-5) against eighth ranked Union (14-8) on Friday night. Visiting Obras was defeated by Union in a tough game in Santa Fe 85-89. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Obras. The best player for the winners was Lucas Peralta (-2005) who scored 33 points (!!!). Francisco Alonso chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Union's coach Marcos Chechele used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Lautaro Barrios (195-2004) produced 30 points and point guard Juan Respaud (190-2005) added 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Union have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Ferro. Loser Obras keeps the third position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
