There was a surprise result when tenth rankedInstituto (11-9) beat higher ranked Platense (16-8) in Cordoba 68-55 on Wednesday. Instituto forced 26 Platense turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Bautista Corsi who led the winners and scored 25 points. Lucca Giuliani accounted for 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Instituto's coach Ignacio Giambartolomei let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Venezuelan Henyerberth Mata (201-2005) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and forward Santino Mazzucchelli (196-2004) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Platense in the defeat. Instituto moved-up to ninth place. Platense at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost.
