We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when their biggest opponentPico FC (9-4) lost to third ranked Racing Ch. (9-3) in General Pico 74-78 on Tuesday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Racing Ch. outrebounded Pico FC 37-24 including 32 on the defensive glass. Swingman Santiago Assum (194-1998) nailed 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and forward Norberto Stucky (198-1994) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds. Pablo Alderete (203-1993) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Aaron Pablo (200-2000) added 18 points respectively for Pico FC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Racing Ch. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Suardi lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position.
