The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedDep Viedma (10-4) in Bahia Blanca on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Villa Mitre (5-9) 73-68 . Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Franco Pennacchiotti (205-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Ezequiel Paz (190-2001, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Villa Mitre players scored in double figures. Villa Mitre's coach Hernan Ferrero used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Nicolas Paletta (179-1987) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Elias Cave (201, college: Minot St.) added 18 points in the effort for Dep Viedma. Villa Mitre moved-up to sixth place. Dep Viedma at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
