Not a big story in a game when 19th rankedGimnasia CR (4-19) lost to fourth ranked Union (20-9) in Santa Fe 78-92 on Wednesday. Union dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR 's 26. Union looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Ulises Gonzalez (-2005) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Segundo Astulfi supported him with 20 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Union players scored in double figures. Union's coach Marcos Chechele used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Jose Copesky (184-2006) did not help to save the game for Gimnasia . Guard Valentino Ayala (190-2005) added 21 points and 5 assists for lost side. Union have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Gimnasia lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the nineteenth position with 19 games lost.
