Important game to mention about took place in Zarate. Seventeenth ranked Zarate (6-18) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 19th ranked Gimnasia CR (4-21) 76-73 on Sunday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Tomas Delia who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Gino Sciamanna accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Zarate's coach Daniel Acosta allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Valentino Ayala (190-2005) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Italian Santino Santacroce added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Gimnasia in the defeat. Four Gimnasia players scored in double figures. Zarate maintains seventeenth place with 6-18 record. Gimnasia lost their fifth game in a row. Defending champion keeps the nineteenth position with 21 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
