Very predictable result in Mar del Plata where twelfth rankedPenarol (12-15) outscored 18th ranked Quimsa (5-24) 101-65 on Friday. Penarol dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa 's 36. Penarol forced 19 Quimsa turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Martin Chapero (205-2007) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Mateo Framiaan who added 19 points, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Penarol's coach Tomas Sirochinsky felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was guard Matias Pikaluk (188-2006) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and Bruno Martinez scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Penarol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Argentino. Quimsa lost eighteenth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 24 games lost. Penarol will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Quimsa will play against Platense (#5) in Florida and hope to secure a win.
