Regular Season Round 37: Union - Regatas 81-87

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Santa Fe. Second ranked Regatas faced 3rd placed Union. Guests from Corrientes (25-5) defeated host Union (21-12) 87-81. Regatas players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ignacio Ortega (205-2004) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Juan Larraza contributed with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Regatas players scored in double figures. Agustin Ferrari (-2005) answered with 29 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Francisco Alonso added 3 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Union. Regatas have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Union at the other side dropped to the fourth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
