Very expected game when 19th ranked Gimnasia CR (5-24) lost to thirteenth ranked Argentino (14-16) in Comodoro Rivadavia 80-87 on Wednesday. The winners were led by guard Augusto Gennero (188-2003) who scored that evening 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by point guard Jose Copesky (184-2006) did not help to save the game for Gimnasia. Guard Valentino Ayala (190-2005) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Argentino have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place. Gimnasia lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the nineteenth position with 24 games lost.
