Very expected game when 14th rankedPenarol (13-24) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Obera (22-10) 116-53 on Sunday. Obera dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Penarol 's 22. Obera forced 20 Penarol turnovers and outrebounded them 44-23 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Obera looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Penarol 's players. The best player for the winners was Colombian point guard Edwin Niebles (178-2005) who scored 28 points and 6 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Spanish forward Tobias Reizner (203, college: Truman St.) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four Obera players scored in double figures. Obera's coach Lucas Gornatti felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) produced 13 points and Gonzalo Aman added 15 points respectively for the guests. Obera have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Penarol lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 24 games lost.
