Very predictable result when fifth ranked Riachuelo (27-10) won against 14th ranked Penarol (13-25) in Mar del Plata 81-75 on Monday. Riachuelo dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Penarol's 24. They outrebounded Penarol 45-29 including a 15-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Fabricio Diaz (205-2006) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jeremias Barco (-2005) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Riachuelo LR players scored in double figures. Point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) replied with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Gonzalo Aman added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Penarol. Riachuelo moved-up to fourth place. Penarol lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 25 games lost.
